Mexico 2017

The kids had a 3.5 week break from school starting at the end of Septemeber, so we decided to take a family vacation to Mexico.

In the airport, ready to leave! The kids did pretty well on the flight acutally - yay!
We met up with Ryan's parents - Lee & Rhonda - in Cancun, ready for a fun 5 days!
Our resort was in the jungle but had access to the beach - best of both worlds. Jaxson loved looking for shells and Griffin loved playing in the sand.
Jaxson & I racing in the kiddo pool. He won!
My cutie & I by the pool
I think the kids favorite activity by far was swimming
Kids water olympics
We had a petting zoo at the resort & the kids loved feeding the animals.

Walking around the resort & looking at the animals & cool layout
suspension bridge

This is how the kids slept everynight lol
A big crab we found outside our door one night.
Ready to eat yummy Japanese teppanyaki food
yum!
One of days we visited Tulum for a few hours - really neat to walk around and see the ruins.

We saw these big lizards everywhere

After Tulum, we spent the rest of the day at Xel Ha - this place was cool!

We had fun zip lining...
jumping off cliffs (into barracuda filled waters)...
floating down the river...
swimming in caves ...
watersliding...
and snorkling. If we ever go back to Mexico, we will definitely visit that place!

The kids got some awesome face painting done at the kids club
Super Hero night show was a hit!
Last full day of fun in the sun

Spider monkeys
swimming in the cenote
Mayan fire dance show
One last group shot before flying home. It was a fun trip!

September 2017

September was a fun month for us & we are loving the cooler evening weather that we are habing. Here is what we got up to this month.

Griffin was my little sous chef while I was preparing BBQ chicken salad for dinner.
Avery has been working hard at getting blues & greens at school for good behavior - way to go Avery!
Jaxson picked these massive carrots from our garden.
We made a quick (less than 48 hours) trip to Utah for some fun. The kids love the nickelcade.
Hiking the Y bright and early on Saturday morning. Avery & Jaxson didn't complain and did so well to climb the whole thing by themselves!
Pretty view from the top!

Thanks to Dallin & Teesha for letting us stay at their place!
My cuties!
Ryan and I hit up the BYU vs Wisconsin game. We got smashed but it was fun anyway!
Loyal strong & true, wear the white and blue!
It was a quick trip that got us all really tired but was super fun at the same time!
School pics. Avery - Kindergarten
Jason - 2nd grade
Griffin was re-tested for his speech therapy and passed - he has come such a long way!
Griffin climbed up on Jaxson and put his arm around him while he watched him play the ipad & Jaxson didn't mind at all - so cute! I hope they can always be this sweet with each other!
Grandma & Papa Low came to visit!! The kids loved sitting with Grandma & watching videos on the ipad.
Piggy Back rides with Papa.
We walked to the resevoir & showed them the park there. Such a cool place!

We took them to the Hammond's Candy Factory - yum!

After the candy factory & torchys tacos, we went to the Denver zoo. Most of the animals were out so it was a great trip!
The bears were posing pretty cool but Avery didn't listen to my "smile" comment fast enough.
The Zoo had these awesome Dinosaurs all around - Griffin is a big dino fan so he loved them (when he wasn't scared of them)!
Dino babies with my babies

Grandma & Jaxson playing legos
We had a bonfire outside where we roasted hot dogs & smores :)
Mom, Dad, Avery, and I went to the (pre) broadway play Frozen. They did a great job and had the most amazing special effects.

Papa helping Jaxson with piano.
I had a volleyball game so that was fun to have my parents there to watch me like the good ol'days.

It was sad to see Grandma & Papa go but it was such a fun visit! Come again soon!

Last picture for the month involves Griffin saying his ears hurt bad, so we put bandaids on them - good as new!
