Love my Baby Jaxson!

I am so glad I bought this lamb for Jaxson when I was in New Zealand this summer. I was only 20 weeks along then, but thought that our baby would love a lamb like this - yep, he sure does!

Jaxson also thinks its funny when we put his feet on his face -- he cracks up pretty good.

Odds & Ends

I have been having so much fun staying home with Jaxson this past week. He is starting to "talk" a ton and is so cute doing it. He will just sit there for 1 minute or so and just constantly talk- love it! here are some random photos from the last little while...

This is the cute lamb I brought home from New Zealand -- it was one of the first toys we got for Jaxson. It is so awesome to watch him play with it. I put it on his feet, and he raises them until he can grab it with his hands, and then straight into the mouth it goes. :)

I love playing the "horsey" game with Jaxson. I vaguely remember seeing a baby getting bounced on a knee with a song about a lady/gentlmen/ etc.?? Do you know what I am talking about? please inform me of the real song, because I just make it up :)

Another oops. This is the Easter egg I made for Jaxson during conference weekend (which was so inspirational and good by the way). If you can't see it, the egg says "I am Jaxson."

Saturday & Sunday

We noticed we had one really handsome boy before we left to church today and because we had 10 minutes before we had to leave for church, we thought we could take some photos of the family. Here are some of our favorites.

Jaxson got an hour in a diaper without a onesie ... Last night it was raining sooo much, I thought it was going to flood. So we took Jaxson out on the porch so he could see it. He thought it was cool, but then out of no where he started fussing, we figured he didn't like the rain anymore. Well, as soon as we got inside I noticed that he had leaked through his onesie, shorts, etc. and aparently he got it all over the front of Ryan's shirt. I tried doing laundry last night and got it out of most things, but Ryan's shirt may be a gonner. Well, it was Jaxson's bath night anyway (don't worry, I bath him every-other night) so instead of getting him all dressed again, I just figured he could enjoy this diaper-only hour for once.

One of our new favorite things to do on the weekend is head to the outlet malls in Round Rock. They are only about 20 minutes away, and we enjoy walking around. We also enjoy hearing comments like, “wow look at his hair” and “he is so cute.” Well, we had a good hour or so walking around and enjoyed spending time as a family.

HAHA I think this is funny. Jaxson looks like he is a spoiled boy holding all his toys! "these are mine"

JaXsOn

Jaxson has really become one drooly boy. He puts everything he holds in his mouth, and when he isn't holding something, his fist goes in. Now gets to wear a bib everyday, lucky boy!

I love this picture. Jaxson is exploring Ryan's face and was loving it. We love how Jaxson is becoming more aware of his surroundings.

YAA, he is getting better with his hands & he rolled over twice last week! (hasn't done it since)

I recently got a Craft cutting machine for my birthday (in March) and I have been working on these cardstock animals for Jaxson’s room. I finally got them all done, well actually I got tired of making them because they take a fair amount of time. Jaxson doesn’t have a mobile, so I thought it would be fun for him to have something on his roof to look at. I finally put them up on Friday afternoon!! Very exciting, however, by Friday evening they started to fall. I purchased removable glue dots at the craft store to put them up … guess they weren’t strong enough. We are still in the process of figuring out how to keep them up on the roof so Jaxson can enjoy them, any suggestions?

I love this picture of Jaxson -- and I love the shape of his eyes! Once I get the camera back (Ryan has it in New Orleans right now) , I will take more pics and post more of our little man.

Jaxson's First Laugh

I had fun playing with Jaxson early today, and he was starting to coo a lot. So I asked Ryan to get the Camera out so that we could video him talking. Luckily, we actually got his first laugh on camera! hahaha, it is a pretty one if you ask me! What do you think??

I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. I am grateful for my Savior and the sacrifice he made for all of us. I am looking forward to Conference weekend so we can hear from our living Prophet and receive spiritual guidance. Hope you all enjoy this video and watching Conference this weekend!
