October 2017

October started the way it always should - great talks, advice, and doctorine from the leaders of our church. I love this chance to dial in and hear what we need to hear. If you want to learn more about my church, visit here.
Celebrating Chelsea's birthday with my girlfriends
We went to Mexico ... see previous post. Then it was our ward trunk or treat. Kids loved it & got a lot of candy. Griffin as iron man
Jaxson as a ninja
Avery as a rainbow unicorn ... every girls dream costume!

We loved the cooler weather & colorful trees this month -  I wish this season would last much longer!!

Jaxson & Avery had their last soccer games - they had fun, was a good experience, but I don't think we will be playing soccer again anytime soon.
Pumpkin patchin' with the Gertsch family. This is Avery & Reese
Griffin & Beck
Avery loves dressing up & so does her friends. We need to find some more little boy friendly costumes...
Weekend trip to the zoo - loved this picture of Jax & Ryan
Griffin loves dinosaurs but didn't want to be anywhere near the T-rex unless I was holding him. Scardy pants
Griffin walked downstairs one afternoon after Avery dressed him up and did his makeup. Lovely ...
Then the came down like this. Love these kiddos who keep me laughing!
I stopped by the elementary school to help in Avery's class & had lunch time with Jax & Avery. Griffin wishes he could stay at school with them too
Avery & her cute little bear she made a bed for - so sweet. I want to remember these moments!
(Pre) Halloween dinner. Mummy dogs, jello brain, worm salad, and mummy brownies.
Somone has made some huge strides in potty training!! I would say he is abnout 95% of the way there and I am so excited about that. It has been a long time coming.
Halloween celebrations at school - Avery & Griffin just love coming to Jaxson's class.
Trick or treating - it was cold but that didn't stop the kids from getting 2 bucketfuls each!
Cooking class date! Ryan's parents gave the gift to us and we were so excited to finally use it! We learned how to make pork dumpings, general tsao's chicken, fortune cookies, etc. Yum!
Last pic is just funny. The dark spots on the picture detect very little heat. Ryan always complains about being warm and I always complain about my hands, feet, and nose being cold. The picture is spot on!
Bring on November!
