We got to Echo lake the night of July 3rd and spent our first full day celebrating America. Dallin & Teesha had to fly back to Texas that morning but at least we got to see him for a bit. Lucky for us we now only live 5 hours from them now that we are in OKC.

Julie brought sparklers for all the kiddos and they had fun waving them around while we watched the Echo Lake boat parade (boo covid ... no real parades this year).
Ryan was with us the first full week at Echo and we loved having him around! He & Jaxson went on some pretty awesome tube rides!
We drove up to Whitefish to look around and stopped for a quick picture by the lake there.
Colson turned 3 months while we were there. Sweet boy!
We blessed Colson while we were at the cabin. Grateful for Ryan and my Dad who hold the Priesthood and could do that for us.

Quick drive up the glacier to try and hike but they were social distancing cars in the park and we couldn't get in.

Aunt Karen is the best! She loves holding and snuggling Colson and gave him a lot of bottles for me - thank you Karen!!

Griffin's favorite was to wrestle on the mat ... lots of laughing from me because I couldn't stand up and was crawling everywhere.
Avery caught 2 turtles while we were at Echo. One of them didn't have both eyes (I wonder if he got caught twice?)

Cozy just loves her Momma and I thought this picture was precious.
Ready for princess chips! I bought pink/yellow/purple/blue/green chocolate chips and the girls were really excited (especially Emmalyn) to eat them. We did a game where the kids would come up and say their favorite princess and why, then they would curtsy after getting their chocolate.

So proud of Jaxson. He did great water skiing this year - he transitioned from the tied together kids skis to the bigger non tied ones. Great job buddy!

My mom knows how to take care of babies! Colson was always so calm and comfortable when he was with her.
More snuggles. It was so nice to have time at the lake where life felt normal again. No real worry about covid and we got to spend time with family. Our life has been such a roller coaster since I started bed rest in December that this time was just what I needed.
Julie left but came back during July so it was double the fun playing with her and her family. Our kids get along so well and its always a party when the Brinkerhoff's are there!
Saying goodbye wasn't easy. It was sad to leave the lake, but this picture makes it a happy memory. Griffin was telling everyone how much he loved them and was giving the best hugs. Then he broke down in tears and told my parents how hard it was when I left for the hospital and he wasn't sure when/if he would see me again. It made us all cry. Such a precious boy that helps us feel love whenever he is there. We loved our time at the lake and will cherish these memories. Can't wait to go back next summer!
