A Giant Christmas Post

We had such a fun Christmas break! Its sad that its over, but we really enjoyed all the family we were able to spend time with, all the card games we played, and all the yummy food we ate (which was a lot!). Here is a bunch of photos from our Christmas ...

We had our own little mini Christmas before we left to Canada. Most of Jaxson's toys were too big, so we had him open them at our place in Austin. We also taught him how to unwrap presents so he would know what to do up in Canada. Here is Jax with one of his toys (which ironically, we took back. He got to open it, which is the funnest part right?)
He loves this music set.
Grrr. sorry I forgot to rotate this one. Jax and Papa. (aka, my dad).
Grandma gave Jaxson his very own stocking! & Jaxson is "Santa's little Helper" according to his Pj's.
Christmas eve.
Opening sibling gifts.
We gave Mom & Dad their big Christmas present. It was a memory book from all 8 of his kids and the 5 in-laws. There were over 700 memories and 400 photos. Awesome! Julie (my sis) did an amazing job at organizing the whole book.
Wow. I guess this is what happens when there are 21 people at the house.
Christmas Morning!
Jaxson loved playing with his cousin Zach's Handy Manny tool bench...
...and buzz lightyear toy. He loved them both!

Ipod and mint oreos .... this is one happy man.

Jaxson and his cousin Kara. Cute kids!
Jaxson playing with his cousin Claire. I love her curly hair!
My beautiful Sister Karen holding Jaxson.
Diaper Dance Party. We had 3 or 4 while we were up there, and they we awesome. So funny to watch these kids "dance."
Jaxson and Talia performing "Thriller" by MJ.
Jaxson loved Grandma's cane. He would go up to it and start shaking it.
Ryan and Justin played in the "Hill Spring Boxing Day Tournament." They won their first 2 games, then was winning until the 4th quater in the final. They lost by 5 :( Sad. On a happy note, Ryan played really well and scored the team all-star.
Me & my all-star
Jaxson and Kara again. Waiting to go to Lethbridge to go swimming.
Me & Karen at the pool.
On Jaxson's birthday.
Aunty Karen and Uncle Dallin.
Jaxson and cousin Kate.

Jax and Ry under the raining mushroom.

Jaxson loved chewing on the rope.
On the way home, we stopped at Costco. We ordered Poutine, and was it ever delicious!! (p.s. I crocheted that hat .... Leslie showed us all how)
We stopped by G & G Low's house before we left Cardston. Grandma was showing us her snow globes -- Jax loved them.
Grandpa is so funny. Jaxson is just cracking up as Grandpa puts blocks on his head.
Jaxson also loved playing the keyboard at Grandma's house.

The Cardston Temple! This is where Ryan and I were married.
Jaxson being the cute silly kid he is. He was just chasing the cat (which he loved).
Grandma (aka my mom) attempting to read to Jaxson. But then Jax saw the cat and it was all over.

Is there any way to put videos in the middle of photos? Anyway, here is Ryan taking Jaxson down the slide at the pool.

Thanks for a Wonderful Christmas vacation Mom & Dad!!

Jaxson's Birthday .... Backwards!

In the process of uploading these photos, I realized I was doing it backwards. oh well, I didn't want to switch. My boy is officially 1 year old! It seems crazy that a year ago we have a little 8 lb baby. He brings so much happiness into our home. I love him more than I can describe. He is just so fun and happy. He melts my heart when he puts his arms around my neck and hugs me. love it! We celebrated Jaxson's first birthday up in Canada while we were visiting my family. These are pictures from the party .... backwards.

Julie made these adorable shoes for Jaxson. So creative and cute! thanks Julie :)

Ooops.... sideways view of Jax reading the books that his little cousins (Zach, Kate, & Kara) gave him. He loves reading them, thanks! And cousin Talia gave Jax cute sports PJ's - thank you!
Eating the cake ...
So I was posing in a picture with Jaxson, and I was holding the cupcake I was eating. Well, Jaxson grabbed it and shoved it in his mouth. Ha, sounds like he takes after his mom!
