Preschool Graduation

Jaxson and Avery had their preschool party and graduation this week. I can't believe the school year is over and it is summer break. The kids LOVED going to school. Jaxson has already cried because he misses his class and teacher (awe, melt my heart). I am grateful that they had such a great experience with teachers who loved and cared about them. It definitely made it easier on me knowing they were in great hands.

Last day of school

Jaxson and Avery had their final school program - so adorable hearing them sing and recite bible verses.

Me & My preschool graduate.

Jaxson's preschool graduate class selfie
I saw this the other day and thought it was adorable!  Griffin was trying to see what Jaxson & Avery were doing, so he grabbed onto Avery and started pulling himself towards them.
Had to get a picture of Griffin in the New Zealand All Blacks onesie (rugby)
Guess who is much better at tummy time now!!  He rolled from back to stomach for the first time last week.
We have been having A TON of rain here this month.  There has been a lot of flooding, several houses caught on fire from lightening, flash flood warnings, etc.  This weekend there was a good downpour without the lightening, so Ryan and the kids took advantage of it. Avery is in the process of wiping out ...

Morning snuggles
I think it is so cute when Avery asks to hold Griffin.
Clean babies after bathtime.
Griffin turned 6 months old today!  I can't believe how fast time is flying. I am trying to savor the moments as best I can, but it is still going too fast.  I love this sweet, happy boy. He is so easy going and makes everyone around him feel good. He brings me so much happiness that my heart constantly melts. Love my Griffy Bear!

He gives some awesome slobbery kisses.  I love it! Who needs a chew toy when you got momma's face?!
Keeping with the tradition, here is the comparison of my kids at 6 months old.

April 2015

I can't believe it is already May!  Once again, I am catching up for the whole past month.  Lots of pictures, not many words =  my blogging style.

This was taken the week after Easter because this is when we had our Easter program at church.  Love this kids of mine, even if I had the hardest time getting them all to look at the camera at the same time.
 Say cheese!
Jaxson has been asking to hold Griffin lately.  After 20 seconds or so he (meaning Jaxson) is done, but it is cute while it lasts.
Ryan was working in Austin for a few days one week and Jaxson was BEYOND EXCITED that he could finally use the suitcase he got for Christmas.  He packed it to the brim - only essentials of course!

After a 2 hour drive, we made it.  We had only been driving 10 minutes when the first "are we there yet" was asked by Jaxson .... I think he asked at least 20 times thereafter.
Swimming!  We stayed in a hotel with an indoor pool so the kids could enjoy the water.  This little guy wasn't a big fan because it was already 9pm and he was sleepy and I woke him up to go swimming.  Bad idea.
 Jaxson and Avery loved it!

We met up with our friends that use to live in Austin but had moved away and friends that still lived in Austin.  Such a fun time seeing everyone again!  This is Jaxson and his friend Addi (I am sure there are lots photos of these two from several years ago on the blog). They got along great and had a blast playing with each other.
When we got back to San Antonio, Jaxson decided to write Addi a letter and send it to her.  I thought it was adorable, other than the fact that I want to be the only girl in his life (other than Avery) for many many more years.
Just a few shots of my cute sleeping babies.
This is how we found Avery one night after we put her to bed.  Football leg warmers on the arms and gloves on the hands,
We had a fun time at the Stake fiesta at the church. Fun games, great food, and the kids got to chase pigs. I have a video on my phone I can text you if you want!
During April, Jaxson was really into Harry Potter (proud mom here! although now he is into Pokemon - boo!!) so we decided to make some wands to duel with.  It was a fun project and now we are ready for whenever we manage to make it to Orlando to go to Harry Potter Land.
The top wand is mine, the next is Ryan's, the next 4 are Jaxson's, and Avery's is last.
 Expelliarmus!
Love it when I get to snuggle with this cutie at night.
Look who turned 5 months old! I want time to slow down!!
He is seriously as happy as he looks. I constantly get compliments on how happy of a baby he is.
And he is starting to do alright with tummy time!!  He definitely doesn't love it, but has vastly improved.
My tradition is to give my kids solids at 5 months.  Griffin thought it was alright - didn't love or hate it.

Just a shot of the kids while to help with a mother's day project for Grandma Riley.
Doing better with solids. Now just trying to figure out how to get him to sit up straight in the bumbo...
This weekend we went to fiesta farms and sea world.  The kids fed carrots to the bunnies, food to the goats, and rode a pony. Jaxson thought this rooster was pretty awesome.
In the goat corral. Look at Avery's face in the back ... she was pretty scared.
I was wanting to feed the smaller goats, but the larger ones would headbutt them out of the way - how rude!
 Hay ride!

Avery loved the little chicks in this coop.
First pony ride ever ... he loved it!  J
Avery thought it was pretty awesome too!
We saw the local peacock strut by while we leaving.  Such pretty colors!!

Happy Mother's Day!! I am grateful for my own mother, my mother in law, my grandmothers, and all women that have all influenced my life for good. I am beyond grateful to my Heavenly Father for allowing me the gift to be a mother. These children bring me so much happiness and joy, and I am blessed to be their mom. I hope each day I can become more patient, kind, and loving towards them -  It is definitely a work in progress.
