Oct 2019 - Moab/Provo

The kids had a fall break this October so we enjoyed a trip to Moab/Provo. We started with 4 days in Moab with Ryan's parents. We all had a blast and the scenery was gorgeous! We enjoyed a lot of hiking and being outdoors. It was priceless time together.
 Sandune arch.

Hike to Corona arch. Super cool railroad tracks with high rock walls.
Quite the hike to get closer so we stopped here to make sure we got back before the sun went down.
Making a cairn on the way down the trail.
These kids are lucky to have such a strong Daddy who can carry them down the mountain.
Hike up to the dinosaur tracks. Neat terrain on the way.
Those dinosaurs were big and the footprints are so well defined!
Hike to delicate arch. The kids thought they were going to die of exhaustion but they made it!

Sliding down the red sand dune was a big highlight for the kids. Especially when they get to use their Daddy as a sled.
Hummer adventure tour. Everyone had a blast (I sat this one out) and said it was super scary and the best part of the trip!
We hiked a small trail to some cool petroglyphs - definitly worth it.
The kids and their awesome Dad spent a good amount of time playing in the pool. Making Santa beards was popular amoung the younger kiddos.
We headed up to Provo/SLC valley after our Moab trip was through. We enjoyed meeting up with some friends from South Carolina who opened a popular BBQ joint in SLC - yum!
We spent a few hours playing one last time with GuhGoh & Papa in Park City. We walked around old downtown and enjoyed walking around the Olympic park.

We took the kids up to Temple Square and loved walking around looking at the different buildings. Wish we had more time up there!
 Salt Lake City temple.
We made a stop in Herriman to see our good friends, the Gertsch's. It was cute to see the kids play together again - we miss them! Jaxson & Boston
 Beck & Griffin
 Avery & Reese
 Maria & I.
We stayed in Provo with Karen. It was great hanging out with her and her kiddos. Here is proof that Ryan and I are Cosette's favorite uncle and aunt (well for a week).
Karen & I snuck away to waffle love one morning for a delicious breakfast. Thanks for enjoying delicious food with me Karen!
We took the kids around BYU campus and had a fun time showing them our old stomping grounds. They have made some cool improvments since we were at university, including this fun kid friendly section/slide in the bookstore.
 Introducing the kids to cosmo.

The kids loved the bean museum and Ryan was a good sport to climb into the bears den. Griffin was too scared to go in but Ryan somehow encouraged him to overcome his fear.... he got drug in by his ankles, kicking and screaming.
Karen & I were able to do a cake decorating class at Orson Gygi the day before we left. It was awesome spending that time with her and furthering our talents in that area.
 Cookies N' Cream cake
Ryan took the kids bowling and swimming while I was doing the cake class. The kids had an awesome time - thanks Ryan!
Jaxson build King Bengamin's tower and the tents 'round about one Sunday morning. Cute kid!
Avery had to decorate a pendant for school that represented her. She had a great time making it and was super proud of the outcome.
Halloween costumes! We had the trunk or treat Friday and the Monster Mash Saturday. It was a candy filled weekend to say the least. Jaxson as the blue tube man.
 Avery as Jojo Siwa.
 Griffin as a shark.
The haul after the trunk or treat.

Monster Mash at the High School. I can't believe how much candy Jaxson came home with!

Jaxson had his last game of football this season - his team just lost in the finals (should have won but had a legit touchdown called back) but they played the best they had all year. Jaxson pulled several flags, got an interception, and caught several passes. Way to go buddy - I loved watching you play!
Avery insited we make molton lava cakes one evening - love the smile on her face after she bakes something yummy!
Griffin's preschool had a Halloween program. I was just so tickled to see him sing - he is the cutest! Grey squirrel, the pumpkin song, and the witch song.

Halloween dinner. Avery insisted we have a halloween themed dinner because last time she was sick and couldn't eat it. Mummy dogs, jello brain, pumpkin oranges, green worm punch, graveyard shepherds pie, and mummy banana/nutella wraps.
Luckily the snow melted enough for us to walk on the sidewalks to go trick or treating. The kids had a blast and I love watching them get excited about things like this - reminds me of my childhood.
Lastly, we spilled the beans on our latest news. I am 12.5 weeks pregnant! Looking forward to no more nausea and 2nd trimester!

Sept 2019

September came and went just as fast as any month. This is Griffin's first taste of a peanut butter and banana sandwhich - he loved it!
"Mom," take a picture of me!
Avery had her own vision for crazy hair day and I let her go for it. She was pretty proud of herself.
Fun run at school! The kids both did great in their school fundraiser and ran 35 & 39 laps. Good job kids!

Griffin joined in the fun and ran his little heart out - so cute watching them run!
Proud of the beads he won.
"Mom, take a picture of us!" He's my little grocery shopping buddy.
We had visitors! Karen came and stayed with us for a week. Griffin loved playing with Emmalyn and all the kids adored Cosette. It was fun having them visit!
Trip to Denver Biscuit company - pit stop at the bouncy cows while we waited for our table.
The giant cinnamon roll.
Playing at the new park. We went when it was pretty empty so the kids had free rain of the sliding swings - yay!

Griffin's PB pinecone bird feeder her made at preschool.
Another park stop.

Then ice cream at the DQ.
These kids were catching a lot of slugs in the backyard.
Last lunch date was at White Chocolate Grill for the filet mignon cobb salad - yum! Thanks for visiting us Karen - it was a blast!
I taught a cake class for the Relief Society's super Saturday - biscoff and cookies n' cream cake.
Primary Program Sunday - these kids did great!
Love these babies of mine. And glad the program is over - now I can breathe.
My little helper. I told him he could go watch tv but he insisted on helping me fold laundry instead because he knew I wasn't feeling well.
Crayfishing at the resevoir. This girl isn't scared to pick them up.
But this boy is! He braved it for a couple of seconds so I could snag a picture.
Last, I took a quick trip to NYC with some friends to explore the city. Big thanks to Ryan for holding down the fort while I was gone!

Family Photos Aug 2019

We had family photos taken while we were visiting family in SC. Loved how they turned out and love this family of mine!
