April 2019

April was another great month in the Harbor Household. Jaxson has his last passion project for the year. This time he studied Walt Disney and gave a great presentation about his life. Good job buddy!
Griffin still loves dressing up in his chicken costume from Halloween. He has also been "reading" stories lately. I love his version as he retells what he remembers us reading ... it is the cutest thing!
Easter Egg hunt! It was cold outside but the kids were troopers. Anything for candy right?
Love this kids and their enthusiasm!

The kids had a blast dying eggs this year - next year I think we are going to try a less messy approach though.

Family trip to Estes Park. We were thinking the hike around the lake would be clear of snow ... oops! We had a blast forging a path around it anyway.

Quick visit to the Stanley hotel
We found a huge heard of Elk roaming around in the townsite - how cool!

 Park day & selfies

The kids were pretty excited for Easter - Jaxon left his cute bunny face for the Easter bunny.
The Easter bunny came and did not disappoint!
Easter Sunday. I loved hearing the kids sing about Jesus and his miracles. I am grateful for him! Because of him I can repent and be forgiven. Because of his example, I know how I should live my life. Because of him, I will be resurrected and have the abilitiy to live with my family forever. That is the greatest gift I can ever be given.

Clearance Easter candy means a marhsmellow minions for my shopping buddy.
Shaving cream compliment demonstration at scouts. Jax was a good sport.
Muffins with Mom at the school. We adopted Hadley for the day because her mom was out of town.
Bronco's Draft Party! We were fortunate enough to get to go. Avery & Griffin loved bowling for 3 hours and Jaxson loved meeting players and getting signatures.
Philip Lindsay - one of the more popular bronco players. Running back.
Justin Simmons - super nice guy. Safety.

Griffin saw this motorcycle at the gym one day and wanted to get a picture with it. Maybe on day buddy!
Ryan & Jaxson had a father's and sons campout. They loved their time together. Cherry Creek resevoir.
Avery's press on nails. She felt so pretty wearing them until she realized how annoying they are to keep on! I remember doing the same thing when I was younger too. What a good month!

March 2019

March is always a party month at our house. We celebrate 3 birthdays and the kids had spring break too. I had a fabulous birthday and loved all the calls, texts, gifts, notes, treats etc. I felt spoiled and grateful to have such wonderful family and friends. I enjoyed Harry Potter clue with the family, burgers for dinner, a yummy cake, and watching Jaxson play in his piano recital.

We have had a few spring ish days around here ... love the weather!
We also got the worst blizzard Colorado has gotten in a while too. I guess it was called a bomb cyclone and essentially a hurricane over land. Well, it took Ryan 3 hours to travel home from work and then his car got stuck in the neighborhood and mine did too when I tried to rescue him. Good times!

We had huge snow drifts in front of the house and in the road - thats why it was so hard for anyone to drive anywhere.

St.Patrick's Day at church - wearing green to make sure we don't get pinched.
We stayed home for spring break and had a blast. Monday was swimming and edible cookie dough day.

Tuesday was Ryan's birthday. We met him for lunch at torchys tacos downtown.
I took the kids to the Nature & Science museum for a few hours on the way home - the kids loved it.

Then we celebrated with a homemade key lime pie for Ryan. Happy birthday Daddy, we sure love you!!
Wednesday was a couple of hours of sky zone fun with friends - the kids were loving it.

Thursday Ryan took the day off work and we headed south to Castle Rock & Colorado Springs. We hit up the mini incline park in CR and had fun running around.

We had a yummy lunch at Tucano's and Avery picked cheesecake (first time!) for dessert and had the whole restaurant look at her while we sang to her - she loved it.
Friday was Avery's 7th birthday. We love you princess and love all the spunk, laughter, and fun you bring to our family.
We went to Lolipop park at her request and ate McDonald Happy meals for lunch.

A little kids dream - carnival rides ove and over again
She opened a drone and mermaid barbie from us and I loved her expressions - so excited!

Strawberry cupcakes for dessert. Happy birthday Avery Jo!
Saturday we capped off spring break with a trip to the children's museum. As always, the kids had a great time and did some neat things. I love how hard Griffin is concentrating while painting - check out his tongue.
 Jaxson the bubble magic man.
Last thing we do before we leave is play at the playground outside the museum. These kids love the tire swing.
We had another good snow and headed out to enjoy some sledding before it all melted.

Griffin loves playdough and had the best time making these logs. So proud of himself.
My & my hubby - we sent this pic to our friend in San Antonio who's birthday it was. He absolutly adores Ryan.
