January 2020

January started with Ryan and I going through everything in our Master bedroom and donating a lot of clothes and other items we didn't need anymore. Griffin was my cute helper who loved emptying each drawer so I could go through them.
I went to go help at the church for primary activities and Griffin loved being a part of all the action. Building a snowman out of TP … cutest snowman around.
We celebrated Jaxson turning 10 by having a movie party at the house. It was really low key and my type of party! Love Avery the photo bomber too!
Griffin started swimming lessons -- hoping he is pretty independent by the time summer rolls around. Would be even more excited if he could be on the swim team!
We had dentist appointments for all the kids this month - still in the no cavity club!
Avery & Jaxson both started basketball this month. Ryan is coaching Avery's team, which she loves. Jaxson is on a team with a lot of his friends so he is having a blast.
Avery is a good defender when she wants to be!
Griffin has been sleeping on the floor in Avery's room for several months now. We came in one night to check on them and found this - awe!!
For MLK day, I took the kids out for a treat and to chuck e cheese for some fun.
Griffin's favorite game - shooting the clowns teeth. He dominates it every time!
Griffin is turning into quite the little reader.  He reads me his 2 books from preschool everyday and is making such good progress! He is also writing his first and his last name really well. Go Griffin!
Ryan and the kids wrestle basically every night before bed. It sure helps them wind down and get them ready for sleep - ha! But the kids absolutely love it and look forward to it everyday. Ryan is such a fun Daddy.
What our mornings look like most days. I am on a modified bed rest and am supposed to sit down as much as possible. I sit on the couch and eat my oatmeal while Griffin reads his books to me and we work through his ABC mouse learning path. Love spending time with this cutie! Sad to know he starts kindergarten next year.
25.5 week baby bump. I am starting to get heartburn so I am thinking he might come out with a head full of dark hair just like Jaxson did.
Harry Potter night at the library. It was a fun time and the kids loved the berties every flavored beans.
Jaxson has been such a help to me this pregnancy and I really appreciate it! I am supposed to be taking it really easy so Jaxson went out and scrapped the driveway before school on our delayed start day.
We have had a lot more snow this past week - school cancelled on Friday (yay!) so Griffin & Avery went out to help Ryan shovel. Good helpers!

December 2019

I just love December and looking back on these photos just reminds me of what a great month it really was. We had a #lighttheworld challenge to post on social media who reminds you of Christ. Well these cute kiddos do - the are quick to forgive and friendly to everyone. I am grateful I get to learn from them on a daily basis.
Griffin had his 5 year well checkup and when asked what his favorite food was, he responded "macarons!" in a French accent. It was priceless.
We took the kids up into the mountains for a train ride - we had hot chocolate and talked with Santa. It was a fun ride and grateful we made it despite the snowy roads getting up there.

Our ward Christmas party this year was a breakfast. The kids loved the cinnamon rolls, crafts, and talking to Santa.
After the breakfast we headed downtown to the Giving Machine. We had fun picking out pigs, chickens, water pumps, etc to help local and international charities. It was a neat experience to have them nearby this year!

That evening we had our neighborhood Christmas party. Horse rides, crafts, cookies, and Santa. Fun and busy day!!

Ryan and I had a temple date in the morning of his day off. I could get use to that!
Jaxson worked hard and presented his passion project at school. Good job buddy!

Griffin's preschool sang at a nearby memory care facility. He was a cute wiseman.
Ryan and I enjoyed the EOG Christmas party - always fun to dress up and go out for a bit.

Opening mail - super exciting!! Thanks Guhgoh and Papa for sending the kids packages!
Griffin got to be Joseph this time in his preschool play … handsome man!

Jaxson's last official day of scouts. It is primary activities for next year!
We helped at Avery's 2nd grade school party - gingerbread house building!
Christmas Sunday. It was a beautiful meeting and we enjoyed having our neighbor Denise & Jaxson's teacher, Mrs. Maloney, there to join us.
 20 week baby bump.
We found out we are having a boy!! Avery was pretty devastated until we gave her all the blue balloons, then she was ok.
We took the kids to the last Star Wars on Christmas Eve --- it was so good!
Christmas Eve appetizer dinner, games, and new pajamas!
Christmas morning - Avery was the best at showing excitement over gifts.
Griffin loved his dress up clothes.
 A new watch for Jaxson.
Love these kids that call me Momma. It was so fun watching them open gifts and show excitement over them.
 Avery's fav -- bath bombs!

Hulk smash gloves. Perfect for this boy who loves Hulk.
Hopefully I don't regret buying these fun popper guns.

We did various activities during the Christmas break … one of the kids favorite is always Chuck E Cheese. Griffin loves skee ball.
 Shooting the clowns teeth.
Daddy & Jaxson always rock the "Down the Clown" game. Lucky for us we get 200 tickets each time we get a high school. Win win!
One of the days we went swimming at the Parker Rec Center.
Jaxson was the row boat and Griffin was the passenger.
I thought it was cute how Jaxson made Griffin all warm after swimming.
Our new favorite toy? The Nintendo Switch - hours of fun and we all enjoy it!
Our sweet Jaxson turned 10 over the break. He is a sweet boy with a tender heart and we are grateful he is in our family!
Ryan took Jaxson and Avery downtown to tour the Denver mint. Jaxson loved his Nutella French toast at the breakfast spot "Syrup" afterwards.
He loved his gifts from us.
The kids spent some of the day taking apart an old computer … hopefully some learning was involved.
We finished off his birthday at Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Happy birthday Jaxson!
We spent New Years Eve at a friends house playing games and eating food. The kids loved the balloon drop!

We played a bit of Nintendo before we counted down (EST) to midnight … glad we were in bed by 10:45!
Lastly, this sweet girl lost her other front top tooth and is now sporting a toothless grin. I guess if they don't grow in by next December, she can ask Santa for them.
