February was quite the sickness month around this place, mainly for me though. I am glad to say I think we are almost all the way better. Hopefully by the end of the week we are feeling 100%. We had 2 highlights this month - Disneyland & a visit from Grandparents.
Early morning bus ride from the parking lot to the airport. The kids were champs on the flight and were beyond excited to go to Disney again.
A explored all day Saturday - the kids loved the science museum downtown.
One of the coolest parts was a petting area that included sea stars, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers.
Airplane out front of the museum.
A made a quick stop by sprinkles cupcakes - yum!In the evening we went to the Griffith observatory - what a great view of the city!
Sunday was rainy and I didn't feel great so we didn't get to do much. On our disney day, Monday, the weather was dry and perfect. We hit up several rides we missed last time including Peter pan, pinocchio, dumbo, mr toad, and the jungle boat. It was a great day and I love that we can go sun up to sun down with our trooper kids.
Avery was so excited she got the pink elephant.
Tea cups!
Good thing Daddy went on the spinning muffins with the kids - this kind of ride makes me sick!
Griffin waited a whole year to go on the "It's a small world" ride again - it did not disappoint him.
We saw Mary Poppins & Burt walking around.
We tried the grey stuff - it was delicious!
Space mountain - this was Avery & Jaxson's favorite ride from last year.
Toon town fun
Mr.Toads wild ride
Just after we got home it was a crazy hair day at school - Avery was beyond excited to wear 2 huge JoJo Siwa bows. Girl heaven right there.
Valentine's day boxes. Avery did hers all herself and Jaxson got a little help with his football box.
We loved having Ryan's parents - GuhGoh & Papa come to visit. We went to Jaxson's basketball game, Denver biscuit company, and chuck e cheese on the Saturday. Sunday was a nice relaxing day at home.
Sunday night movie in the basement - the orignial Disney Robin Hood.
Building with brain flakes before the had to leave for the airport. It was so fun having them come!
Jaxson's team played in the championship game of his league yesterday. They came up a bit short but had a good season. It was fun watching him play and enjoy the sport.
Griffin hit his head on a wooden bench and split it open pretty good last night - he needed 3 deep stitches and 6 external ones. Good thing he is a strong boy and was pretty sleepy, so it wasn't too bad getting him all fixed up.Avery got all pretty for church today - what a cute girl!
