Baby Griffin 5 Days - 2 weeks

I can't believe Griffin will be 3 weeks tomorrow! We are so grateful he is in our family and we love him to pieces!   Here are photos of him over his life starting from the day he was able to come home from the NICU until about 2 weeks.

This was just a few minutes after getting home from the hopsital.  He was a sleepy boy (still is!) so he took a nap in his pack n' play. Thanks Guh Goh Harbor for the crib sheets!
Jaxson and Avery had a blast playing with these "muscle men."  They are little plastic figures Ryan use to collect when he was younger.  Rhonda brought them out for Jaxson to play with - there is over 300 of them!

Enjoying his swing - thanks to my friends who got it for Griffin!

An attempt to get a photo of Griffin for our Christmas card.  Posing newborns is HARD!  I was very glad to get at least one good one!

Those lips!  The nurses in the NICU even commented on them!

This will be our first Christmas by ourselves- no family or traveling.  It is sad but also nice because it will be low key and we can start some traditions with our little family. We decided to have a "mini-Christmas" while Ryan's parents were in town so that we could exchange gifts in person.  The kids LOVED it!  I think their favorite thing is ripping open wrapping paper :)

Jaxson and his new workbooks - time to get smart! ;)

Avery checking out her new Bubble Guppies Look n' Find book

BYU gear!  Jaxson's is a star wars/BYU shirt and Avery loved the cheerleading pom poms - it was so cute to see her jump up and down shaking them. I guess I will let her do that for a few years before we turn her into an incredible basketball/volleyball player.

More shots of Griffin we wanted to document.  Love his hand placement here.

1 week doctor appointment.  This picture cracks me up - he looks like one happy boy to be seeing the doctor!
More awesome pictures of Griffin while at the doctors office.

Big eyes!  Avery did this when she was a newborn too.  Wonder if it is common or just my kids??
 Precious Daddy-son time!
A funny photo Rhonda snapped on her phone.  Griffin was being burped - that is why he is hunched over like that.
 Making sugar cookies!
Thanks again Rhonda and Lee for helping us out!!  The kids sure loved all the attention and games!

Griffin's first bath.  Love the look on his face because that is what he really looks like. I think newborns often make funny faces in photos, but this picture to me is Griffin - such a stud! He loved the water, just like his siblings did!

You can often find Griffin doing funny things with his arms while sleeping...
Proud big sister - she loves him!

Ryan took the kids to the zoo last weekend.  The kids had fun exploring and getting dirty.  That is why Daddy's are funner than Momma's - I wouldn't ever do that :)  They had a great time and it was nice to get some things done around the house.
