Carolina Christmas, Dec 2015

Ahhhh I loved looking at these photos because it reminded me of all the fun we had this past Christmas. It has been a busy/stressful time in our lives with trying to sell our house and move, so we really enjoyed the time we had to relax and spend time with family.

This is how Jaxson felt once we got to South Carolina! We drove (through the night) for 17 hours and we were all very grateful to be out of the van.
Sunday best for Christmas Sunday. Avery was so excited to have a fancier dress for church.
Love that at least one of my children looks at the camera and smiles
We went to the zoo one morning when it was a tad rainy and it was so empty. It was a fun time looking around and seeing the animals. Love these 4!
 Flamingos
 My favorite, the giraffe
 Elephant
 The aquarium
 Lion made of car parts
 Merry go round

At the house, Ryan and Jordan had a fun time tearing down the old playhouse. I think they had a lot of fun ...
 Decorating gingerbread cookies
Christmas Eve spread ... lots of yummy appetizers. I really wish all of this food was at my house right now - yum!!

 Merry Christmas Hunny!
 Christmas eve shenanigans.
Reading the Bible account of Christ's birth. One of my favorite Christmas traditions.
New Christmas jammies for the kids.
Then a new game for everyone to play .... pie face. It was a hit! Erika was the first casualty.

I insisted on going first right after someone got pied ----> not a good idea. Sometimes it goes off on the first try.
 Boom
Avery did the cutest laugh after she was pied. She thought it was the best thing :)

Putting presents under the tree and then going to bed to wait for Santa.
 Griffin headbonking Guhgoh.
Griffin's fan club. Thank you for loving my babies!
 Sneaking treats off the counter
Love these silly kiddos of mine
Last thing to do before bed? Put cookies out for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer.
Traditional Christmas morning shot in the hallway before looking at all of the Santa gifts.
Avery got a kitty surprise with 4 kitties in it
Griffin loved the candy filled canes inside our stockings
Jaxson's big gift was his very own camera - one happy boy right there.
I had this same kitty surprise when I was little.

Jaxson is showing us Griffin's main gift, which was a blow up ball pit.
Giving Guhgoh her grandma charm bracelet.
Avery has been loving dressing up lately, so she got a few different princess dresses.

It was so fun that we got to spend the vacation with cousin Noah & his parents!
Guess who & other board games for Jaxson
Pink nike shoes for me, thanks Ryan!
Griffin loved this hammer xylophone toy.
Jaxson spent a lot of time making a book for Daddy and this temple run mask was just the cherry on top. It was so cute to watch him work so hard this gift for his favorite person.
Giving Papa a tshirt. Don't worry Papa Low, we also think you are the best Papa ever too!
Themed gifts from Guhgoh & Papa.
 Princess Elsa
 Merry Christmas!
Papa & Shannon's family came over for Christmas dinner. It was fun having Griffin meet the amazing man that he is named after (Bailey).
A pretty princess dress from Papa.
Avery and Papa playing with her playdough toys
Stud Muffin. Hamburger bib. I can't even ...
Bowling with the family. I was so close to getting a turkey - maybe one day!

Erika is such a great aunt and loves to spend time with my kiddos!

Griffin thought holding the N64 remote was the best thing ever. He wants to be one of the big kids.
It was such a fun trip and like always, it was hard to say goodbye. Thanks for all of the fun memories, great food, laughs, coughs (boo!), and games. We love you guys!!

Once we were home, we had 2 days before it was time to celebrate Jaxson's 6th birthday. He is such a fun & energetic boy! He is smart and friendly and we are grateful he is in our family!!
Happy Birthday buddy!! We love you!
