Well it has been a good and busy month for us. I guess it is time to officially announce we are building a house! We are sad we will not be in the same ward (or stake even) but it will only be 5 minutes away and we can still see our friends whenever we want. It is just north of where we live now, in a new neighborhood. We are excited to have more space (we are in a 2 bedroom apartment and Avery still sleeps in the pack n' play next to our bed) and to have a backyard! I am guessing we will be moving into it in January after the holidays.
We have had a couple of "cooler" days here in San Antonio, and I am really looking to many more (cross fingers!). We actually put on long sleeves and didn't die of heat. We enjoyed family walk around our large apartment complex and fields. Jaxson loves playing "follow the leader" so we followed him - it was a fun Sunday activity. WARNING: This photo may be too graphic for some? Maybe if you have a weak stomach? I dunno, this happens quite often at our house, so I am use to it. Not ashamed of taking pictures of it. Messy messy girl. She did this 3 times (to this extent) in 48 hours. Once when I just got to the gym to work out, once on my way to the dentist, and once here at home. Taught me a valuable lesson: bring extra clothes for Avery (she hadn't really done this before, so I never did.) Her new nickname? The Bad Gasser.
So just in case you weren't aware ... Avery Started crawling just after 6 months. Yep, crazy girl. Sad (yet excited) Mommy. She is getting much faster and needs to be watched much more carefully. A week after crawling, she started standing up - on everything. Guess she is trying to keep up with her energizer bunny brother Jaxson.
This is a classic Avery face, and I love it. She wrinkles up her nose and smiles, and makes this funny noise - love this girl!
You may be wondering about her helmet not being on ... Well, she has it on for 23 hours of the day, and then 1 hour off to get it cleaned and dried. She only has to have it on another 4-6 weeks hopefully.
Last weekend, we went to a pumpkin patch ... Well, we stood in line and then decided that the 85 degree heat was too hot and we went to the children's museum instead. Avery and Daddy flying the airplane ...
This was one of my favorites - even as an adult - I had fun playing with it.
So did Jaxson
So did Ryan ... that's his face print
Chilling in her car seat
There was grocery store area of the kids. Jaxson knew just what to do, he grabbed a basket and started filling it up with everything. Guess he has seen that before, MANY many many (shake my head and sigh) times. His mommy knows how to grocery shop, if you know what I mean. For those of you who know me, I am obsessed with food. Wish I wasn't, but I am. At least I can admit it right?
Checking out.... Jax grabbed a lot of veggies and fruit, chocolate syrup, butter, and french bread. Just the essentials.
Milking a cow ... didn't work, I tried it. Trust me, I know how to get milk out .... HAHA
Riding the trolley/bus thing (well, we were actually leaving, and Jax ran away, ignoring our "stop, come back here!" like he always does ...and he jumped onto the bus. Looks like he didn't like the skeleton. good, maybe it will teach him to listen ... not likely)
I made a little Halloween shirt for both Avery and Jax ... we haven't made/found/bought costumes for them yet. Probably because for the majority of October, Jaxson was saying he wanted to be a Dancer - yah, weird, I know (he a girl on Disney channel say she wanted to be a dancer and I am pretty sure that's where he picked it up from)
Last but not least, a sleeping picture of Avery ... because sleeping babies are cute.
Happy (and safe!) Halloween Everyone!
