We've Moved!

I have been a major slacker with this blog in the past month or so. Well, I went on vacation for 2 weeks to see my family in Canada. We also spent a fair bit of time at the lake in Montana --we had such a fun time and loved every minute of it. I wanted to post those photos on here, but I had so many, I just uploaded them all to facebook, so check them out if you haven't yet.

Other news .... we have moved from Austin to San Antonio. Ryan has officially finished his thesis/grad school (we are sooo proud of him!!) and started his first day of work today. He will be an awesome employee and EOG is lucky to have him. This past weekend, Rhonda (ryan's mom) came out to visit us for a few days. We had a fun time, but unfortunatly I was lazy and didn't pull out my camera till the last day. So here is the only photo I got of us/her. These photos were before we left to church.

I am opening an Etsy Shop! (in the near future)

Alright, so I think I am finally going to open a shop on etsy and see how I do. These are the different hair flowers I have decided to sell. Each of them can attach to a head band or can be worn seperately. Sorry the pictures are very low quality - i am a lame picture taker. Once I get up to Canada to see the family, my sis-in-law is going to help take some great photos of these.

extreme couponing

Just got back from CVS. I spent $1.62 out of pocket and got all of this (I had about 8 coupons mind you). love it!

Playdate, P.J's, and the Splash Park

A couple of weeks ago, Jax and I went over to my friend V's house for a playdate. We had a good time playing outside, sliding down the couch, and watching mickey mouse.

Jax has been needing new PJ's for a while now. Well, I finally found some and I think they are just perfect for Jax. They say "sleep is for humans."

Yesterday we went to the splash park with a bunch of friends from the ward. Jax had fun playing in the water and sneaking off to the playground.

July 4th

We had a really fun and busy July 4th. First we had our friends over for a pool party/grilled lunch. It was super yummy and fun to play cards with them. For some reason I was silly and forgot to take any photos. oops. Then we went to our other friends house for a pool party in the backyard, which was also fun.

Odds n' Ends

I am not gonna lie, I haven't been taking a lot of photos lately. The main reason is because we don't have a great camera right now. Our nice waterproof one died while we were in Hawaii and we haven't looking into purchasing a new one yet. So these are just some random photos we have taken the last few weeks.

Ry and Jaxson love eating chips and salsa. This is a daily occurance that I am ok with because they both get veggies that way :)

He loves his salsa.Jax loves rolling around and playing in the covers in our bed. One time we pulled him out, and I guess he was laughing so hard he snotted himself. Somehow he attached booger from his nose to his eyebrow. impressive.Lunch time. I guess the food I gave him was really boring?we finally got a small bit of rain (we are in a drought). I was on our porch (3rd floor) and took some photos of Ryan and Jax playing in the puddles. Oh ya, and Jax got a hair cut!Another daily occurence for Jax. He loves his mickey mouse club house! the life. chilling, watching tv, getting fed .... So my one of my latest hobbies is couponing. Unfortunatley, here in Texas you can't really get good grocery couponing. There is only 1 store here in Austin that doubles/triples coupons and their prices are so high, it is not worth it. But the nice thing, I can still coupon for tolitries at CVS/Walgreens. Here are my spoiles for the week.

2 Packages of huggies, 2 pantene conditioners, 3 dove shampoos, 2 dove mens face/body wash, and twizzlers, all for ..... 16.48. but I also have a $2 off coupon from this transaction that I haven't used yet, so I guess its more like $14.48. Not bad considering the huggies themselves wereon sale for $9 each per pack.4 tubes of tylenol cream (which is one of the most amazing inventions ever. feels so good on sore muscles!), 2 pks of liners, 3 jellos for ...... $4.16. Each tylenol itselt was supposed to be 7.99. heck ya!
